We are excited to announce that Chad Womack has been promoted to Senior Regional Vice President Operations for the company. He will continue to oversee the Florida region operations while lending some oversight and support to the company regional management.
Chad’s strong operational performance, demonstrated leadership, and collaborative approach have helped to build a trust that provides partnership across the organization. A true leader of service, whether he’s demonstrating a new technique, providing basic necessities for those in need or firing up the grill for his staff, Chad is a man of the people.
When announcing this new position, Company President and COO, C. David Fries stated, “We know Chad well and he is a pleasure to work with given his calm and methodical demeanor when handling just about anything. He has been a responsible team member for nearly 14 years combined. He has always provided diligent oversight and direction to the operations and team members under his watch. We are very happy he will now be in a position to influence daily operations throughout the company. Please join me in congratulating Chad on his well deserved promotion.”
Chad joined SUN in 2005 as the Quality Assurance Manager and held several roles in operations management. In 2009 he became the Director of Housekeeping for Ellington at Wachesaw Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He rapidly progressed within his first five years, and as SUN expanded its footprint, Chad made the move to Florida in 2012 and was named Regional Vice President Operations for the Florida region.
